How it all began . . . In 1953, Mary Cole became the first Ladies Auxiliary president for the United Pentecostal Church Intl. In 1956 the Mothers Memorial fundraising drive began with an offering of $4,930.63. Ila Ashcraft followed as president in 1960 and served until her death in 1964. Vera Kinzie then served as president until 1994. Gwyn Oakes became president and served until 2015. Linda Gleason became president in 2016. Mothers Memorial is the name of the annual fundraising drive.

Rev. Rebecca Robidas is a devoted wife, loving mother of three boys and a licensed minister. She was born and raised in the vibrant city of New York and is currently making a profound impact in the heart of New England by planting churches alongside her amazing husband. Rebecca is a dynamic speaker and worship leader whose words resonate with power and faith. Rebecca has served on the district ladies committee and is the newly elected Ladies President for the MA/RI district. She is excited to serve the amazing women of New England and be part of the greatest revival this world has ever seen.

Ladies Ministry Secretary: Rev. Dorose Higgins

Rev. Dorose Higgins, along with her husband, Noel Higgins Jr. attends Boston United Pentecostal Church in Boston, MA. Dorose has faithfully served in many ministries at Boston UPC for the last two decades, including preaching, teaching, youth and young adults, global missions, new converts care, small group home Bible studies, and ladies ministries. In ladies ministries specifically, she has been the Massachusetts/Rhode Island District Section 1 Representative since 2016 and the District Ladies Secretary since 2025. She has a burden to see women experience the power of God, walk in the truth of the Word daily, and know their identity in Christ. She believes that ladies ought to live a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led life, full of faith and joy! She hopes to encourage and equip this generation of ladies to live victoriously in Jesus; ladies who are fully trusting Him and standing on His promises, being the light, and making more disciples of Christ along the way.
